Geological Mapping is a recording of observations on the rock exposures, plotting them on a
base map and logically interpreting the observation towards unraveling their evolutionary history
i.e their mode of origin, diagenesis, metamorphism and the processes that lead to their present deposition.

Geological Modelling essentially concerns developing a description of a rock volume in terms of rock types, brittle/ductile deformations and structures. Even if a key input to such descriptions are observations on site and from boreholes, geological modelling would be impossible without a basic conceptual model. The conceptual model in turn builds on hypotheses on the (long term) geological evolutionary processes.. Precise Geo-CoOrdinates of the pillars in the mining lease area are recorded to carry out the exact survey of all the pillars of the mining lease area using dual frequency DGPS in RTK mode/ETS from the temporary GCP.

The Environmental Clearance [EC] process for majority of projects will comprise of a maximum of four stages – Screening, Scoping, Public Consultation & Appraisal. EC for developmental projects has been made mandatory by the Ministry of Environment & Forest through its Notification issued on 27/01.

Consent to Establish (CTE): This consent is required to be obtained before establishing any Industry, Plant,
or Process. The Consent to Establish is the primary clearance.

Consent to Operate (CTO): Once the Industry, Plant, or Process being established according to mandatory
pollution control systems, the units are required to obtain consent to operate.

Mining Plan/Scheme is a tentative document and actual data of overburden, top soil generation, Bulk density of rock mass, wastage stone, ground water etc. shall be available as and when the mining operation commences. It can be defined as optimizing the exploitation of mineral reserves for maximum added value aligned with the strategic goals and objectives of the business enterprise. The complex set of activities associated with this process aim to identify the best possible mine design and production scheduling, considering among others, capital investments, operational cost, revenue forecasting, and management of cash flows of a mining operation. It is critical component to the financial aspects of mining ventures.

A Drone Survey refers to the use of a drone, or unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), to capture aerial data with downward-facing sensors, such as RGB or multispectral cameras, and LIDAR payloads. During a drone survey with an RGB camera, the ground is photographed several times from different angles, and each image is tagged with coordinates. Surveying with a drone offers enormous potential to GIS professionals. With a surveying drone, it is possible to carry out surveys of the same quality as the highly accurate measurements collected by traditional methods, but in a fraction of the time. This substantially reduces the cost of a site survey and the workload of specialists in the field.

The Differential Global Positioning System (DGPS) transmits correction signals to GPS navigation equipment on board. It provides an improved location accuracy integrity, in the range of operations of each system, from the 15 meter nominal gps accuracy to about  1-3cm in case of the best implementations. This technique was developed in the early 1980’s, and it is widely used in various forms. Each DGPS uses a network of fixed ground-based reference stations to broadcast the difference between the positions indicated by the GPS satellite system and known fixed positions. These stations broadcast the difference between the measured satellite pseudo ranges and actual pseudo rangers, and receiver stations may correct their pseudo ranges, by the same amount. The digital correction signal is typically broadcasted locally over ground-based transmitters of shorter range.
