Fugitive Monitoring

Fugitive Monitoring refers to the systematic and continuous observation, detection, and tracking of fugitive emissions, which are unintentional releases of gases, vapors, and particulate matter from industrial sources, such as leaks, cracks, or other openings in equipment, pipelines, and infrastructure, in order to identify, quantify, and mitigate these emissions, and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.

It involves the use of various techniques and technologies, such as optical gas imaging, acoustic emission detection, and sensor-based monitoring, to detect and quantify fugitive emissions in real-time, allowing operators to quickly identify and repair leaks, and prevent further emissions, while also providing valuable data for emissions reporting, compliance, and environmental management, and enabling industries to adopt more effective emissions reduction strategies and best practices.
